Snickerdoodles

Cook Time: 8-10 minutes
Preheat Oven: 400

Ingredients:
1 cup shortening (part butter)
1 ½ cups sugar
2 ¾ cup flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
¼ tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. sugar
2 eggs

Instructions:
Heat oven to 400°. Mix shortening 1 ½ cups sugar and eggs. Blend flour, cream of tartar, salt, and soda; stir in. Shape dough into balls. Roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture. Place 2” apart on un-greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 min. Make 6 dozen cookies.
