Fresh Strawberry Pie

Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 TB butter
1 cup sugar
2 ½ TB cornstarch
1 lb. Strawberries
Instructions:
Combine sugar and berries. Let stand until juices form (completely thawed). Drain juice off and bring to a boil.  Add cornstarch mixed with water and butter. Cook 2 minutes on low heat covered. Cool slightly. Stir in strawberries and pour into 8 inch pastry shell. Serve with whipped cream.
