Pizza

Pizza Crust
Ingredients:
Dough:
3/4 cup warm water
1 TB yeast
2 TB sugar
1 tsp salt
1 3/4 cup flour
1 TB olive oil
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
Sauce:
1 15 oz can tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes work well too!)
1 Tbs olive oil
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper

Instructions:
Dough:
Preheat your oven and pizza stone to 550 degrees. I know, it’s super hot. (if you don’t have a stone, pre-heat the
oven anyways to 550, and sprinkle some corn meal on your pizza pan)
Dissolve 1 Tbsp. sugar and a pinch of salt in ¾ cups of hot water.
Once dissolved, add 1 Tbsp. of yeast, and stir until it is dissolved.
Let the yeast mixture sit in a warm place for 10 minutes.
In the mean time, mix 1 ¾ cup flour, ¼ cup of parmesan cheese, 2 tsp. salt, and 1 Tbsp. sugar. (you can add other stuff
too, like Italian seasoning, garlic powder, or for dessert pizzas you can add Nestle Quick.)
Mix the yeast mixture into the dry ingredients, and stir it all together so all the flour is moist.
Knead it for 5-10 minutes, or just look at it until it kneads itself. (1 st option is faster!)
Oil your pizza stone, and put your rolled out pizza dough on it. (if you use a pan, just sprinkle cornmeal on the pan
and don’t oil it) Brush the top of your dough with olive oil as well, before you put on the sauce and toppings.
Once you’ve put your toppings on, bake it at 550 for about 7-8 minutes or so. Keep a good eye on it so it doesn’t
burn. It will cook really fast, and you’ll have a super delicious pizza in no time!

Sauce:
Get the olive oil sizzling on medium til its hot.
Mix in all the dry ingredients and stir it constantly for a minute or so, until it smells good
Pour the tomato sauce and lemon juice in slowly and mix it all up.
Put a lid on it, and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes or so.
BAM!
